Athlete Focused Conditions

Get Back in the Game Stronger with Athlete-Focused Care!

How We Get You Back Fast

Every plan starts with a movement & mobility screen. From there, we’ll combine whatever you need:

  • Gentle table-based adjustments (we don’t use decompression machines)
  • Hands-on soft-tissue care: ART®, Graston®/IASTM, cupping (“old blood out, new blood in”)
  • Dry needling (tiny needles to calm trigger points)
  • Shockwave (deep, non-invasive; great for stubborn tendon pain)
  • Corrective exercise & programming (not band-sheet homework)
  • BFR and sports/deep-tissue massage as needed

Common Athlete Conditions We Treat

Woman comforts a distressed man on a tennis court bench. He holds his head, towel in hand.

Concussions & Safe Return-to-Play

We'll help you return gradually, with each stage lasting 24 hours, progressing only if symptoms are stable. We’ll also add early light aerobic activity and therapy to aid recovery.

Runner’s Injuries (Shin Splints, ITB, Foot/Ankle)

Most running pain is a load issue. We fix the “why” (training spikes, terrain/shoe changes, mobility/strength gaps), apply hands-on care, and use shockwave for stubborn tendon pain when exercise alone stalls.

Low Back Pain in Athletes

We prefer flexion distraction, a gentle, movement-based table technique, to restore motion without cranking on the spine. Then we build hip/core strength and sport-specific progressions to prevent flare-ups.

Neck Pain, Headache & TMJ in Sport

We’ll clean up posture under load, improve neck/scap control, and restore jaw motion to settle headaches and facial/neck pain.

Motion-Based Injuries (Shoulder, Throwing, Overhead)

Power flows hips → trunk → scap → shoulder. We restore that sequence and scap control; shockwave can help chronic tendon issues.

Knee Pain in Athletes (Patellar, Meniscus, ACL)

First: swelling down, motion back. Then: quad/hip strength, plyos, and change-of-direction progressions. We’ll add dry needling, Graston, BFR, and shockwave as needed.
