Soft‑Tissue Care

Tight, or Sore? Get Hands-On Relief + Rehab That Lasts

How Soft‑Tissue Care Helps

If a muscle won’t let go, soft-tissue care is where we go to work. We use precise, hands-on methods for muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and the nerves that run through them, then pair it with the right rehab so the change lasts.

What It Does?

  • Loosens stiff, “sticky” spots
  • Reduces ache and tension
  • Restores normal motion in hot zones like the neck, shoulders, back, hips, and legs
  • Locks in results with simple, targeted exercises

Our Go-To Techniques

Person receiving arm massage. Hands on armpit and upper arm, skin redness visible.

Active Release Technique (ART)

ART is our go‑to for a lot of soft‑tissue problems. Think of it as a very focused pin‑and‑stretch. We’ll shorten the tissue, add precise pressure, then move through full range. The “release” often happens at the end of the motion. Result: smoother joints, less tug-of-war from tight tissue.

IASTM / Graston

We use stainless‑steel tools to find sticky spots and use light, rhythmic strokes to improve blood flow. Because tissue changes under load, we add easy exercises during and after treatment so the gains show up when you move, not just on the table.

Fascial Distortion Model (FDM)

Helpful in select cases, but we mainly use ART because it’s more precise and integrates well with our rehab-first approach.

Massage Therapy

This isn’t spa‑style Swedish. Our massage is goal‑driven work to reduce pain and restore mobility. It’s less invasive than dry needling but more focused than a relaxation massage.

Craniosacral Therapy (Nervous System / Therapeutic Focus)

A light-touch branch of massage therapy that helps calm an over-amped system by improving fluid flow around the brain and spine. Often helpful for headaches, jaw/TMJ tension, and stress-driven pain. Pairs well with dry needling and adjustments.

Cupping Therapy

“Old blood out, new blood in.” We glide cups to find reactive spots, set them briefly, and move joints while they’re on. Most people notice less ache and better motion afterward.
