Clinical Health and Fitness Background
With an experienced background in the fitness industry, from teaching fitness classes to training D1-D3 level athletes, my passion has always been about foundation movements. Treating all my patients with this approach allows room for productive growth and a very targeted approach in my care plan. Using my background in training carries over into the clinical aspect, which, in turn, benefits my patients to create a more efficient and productive form of recovery.

Clinical Approach
- What exactly is a Sports Massage? – Sports Massage goes further than relaxing and superficial tissue work. In my practice, it is a far more targeted approach clinically in order to treat primary and underlying conditions.
- CST – also known as CranioSacral Therapy, is a light touch yet deeply affective therapy used to “reset” the body's nervous system. Think of a kink in a hose; fluid gets blocked due to a pinch or block in the hose. Your body’s spinal cord, nerves, and musculature all respond in a very similar manner. With that in mind, CST is used to aid in restoring that fluidity, allowing for smooth communication (water in the hose) to flow throughout your body (hose line) and release tensile components that have been so closely compacted (the kink in the hose).
Some of the most common symptoms CST Treats are:
- Headaches (Migraines, Tension & Stress headaches)
- TMJ
- Lower Back Pain
- Neck Pain
- Brain Fog, Stress, Anxiety,
- Post-Concussions
- Post-Traumatic events (PTSD)
- Cupping (mostly dynamic) –The primary goal is to pull old blood out and encourage new blood in, which allows me to able to find hot spots. Another way to use this therapy is by leaving a cup attached idly while having you move through a specific range of motion to drive circulation.
- Corrective exercise – This is where I take a step back to analyze the way your body moves, allowing me to identify any weaknesses, imbalances, or dysfunctions through the use of foundational movements and effective modalities.
- Receiving this form of care is similar to things like watering a plant, cutting the grass, or getting gas for your car, all things that we do in order to keep a functional lifestyle... Your body responds the same way!
- My approach to care, I take pride in listening to the way your body responds to my care in order to achieve the best results. As I do provide relaxational therapy for massage, it is not my primary form of care, as I aim to provide and offer a subjective level of care.
Outside the Office
When I’m not in the office, I love watching football, spending time with friends, and going to the gym. As of recently, I have been training for and completed a few Hyrox competitions and plan to compete in more down the line. I love to read, travel, and cook, not to mention I’m also a major foodie, so future apologies if you get hungry in our session as I talk about the most recent dinner spot I found!
The First Session… What to Expect?
- Exams or additional costs are not in my care plan.
- Full Body hands-on assessments, learning about you as a patient, and what your goals are, is my top priority on your first visit.
- I do not operate on a set care plan for all my patients; it is specifically tailored to each person. Depending on your goals and condition will determine the frequency for care!
- Whether you’re an athlete, a parent, or just wanting to simply move pain-free, our top priority is to provide you with the best and most professionalized care possible!
